At Walls Can Be More, we believe architecture and interior design can transform our spaces, lives and the world around us but only if its relatively affordable, transparent and simple.  In response to this - and the technological innovations that allow the delivery of design at a fraction of the cost - we've created four distinct packages that allow you to adapt your home, or place of work, wall-by-wall, room-by-room or in "one hit".

PACKAGE No. 1
TRANSFORM ONE WALL.

Return to a sense of calm and peace with a generous and superbly crafted wall that not only allows rich, natural light to permeate and invigorate your interior space but also blurs the boundaries between nature and architecture, inside and out.   
To intensify the experience, we will build into the land adjacent to the wall, a new outdoor space inspired by the dry landscape gardens of Japan. All you need to do is create a comfortable contemplation space that allows you to quietly think, reflect and meditate in connection with nature.
What's included:
• A rich Building Information Model [BIM], consisting of potentially multiple data sources, that can be used to inform and communicate project decisions as well as provide greater clarity for all during construction.
1 x architectural or interior digital matte painting that provides you with a painterly impression of the new opening, and more important, the effects of sunlight, shadow and views of the always changing beauty of nature.
• An edited version of the digital matte painting if necessary.
• An outline specification that briefly describes the main components - incl. ext. doors and windows, internal walls, partitions and doors, flooring, finishes, fixtures and fittings - to be used in construction of the project.
• A series of working or construction drawings that provide dimensioned, graphical information that can be used by a contractor to construct the works or by a supplier to fabricate, assemble or install components of the works.
*Price is based upon the external wall - approx. 12m² - of a typical mid-terrace front reception. To reflect a change of more than 10% an additional sum of 25 GBP  per m² will be payable.

Walls Can Be More define a contemplation space as a selection and arrangement of existing and/or new movable and built-in interior elements - seating, tables, workstations, beds, storage and lighting as well as a limited palette of materials - timber, clay, brick and stone - and colours that help to foster a sense of calm and tranquility.

TRANSFORM TWO ROOMS.

Blur the boundaries between your surrounding interior spaces as well as the wider world outside with a series of generous and beautifully detailed walls - articulated by sliding glass doors and screens - that invite sunlight into the home as well as the reinforce the relationship between interior and exterior.   
To further dissolve the boundaries between the artificial and the natural, halfway points will be softened in natural features such as trees, bushes and vines and carefully considered and comfortable contemplative spaces for relaxation, cooking eating and entertaining.
What's included:
• A rich Building Information Model [BIM], consisting of potentially multiple data sources, that can be used to inform and communicate project decisions as well as provide greater clarity for all during construction.
• 3 x architectural or interior digital matte painting that provides you with a painterly impression of the new opening, and more important, the effects of sunlight, shadow and views of the always changing beauty of nature.
• An edited version of the digital matte paintings if necessary.

A few steps away from your key living spaces, the pavilion is softened by trees, bushes vines, and reflection pools and comes replete with a series of elegant and comfortable contemplation spaces in which to quietly sit back, relax and forget the stresses of the day.

At the end of the day, retreat to a series of private, more intimate retreats articulated by walls that allow you to appreciate nature and the open skies as you move in to the deep stages of sleep or when you stumble out of bed for your morning ablutions.
To the rear of the house, overlooking the dry landscape garden, is an exquisitely detailed and refined oriel window in which you can relax, read, listen to music, become transfixed by the procession of clouds moving across the landscape or look up in wonder at the moon and the stars.
